A child-led support service

Our children and young person’s support service offers a one-to-one service for children and young people who have been affected by domestic abuse. We work with children and young people in the age groups from 5-18 years old. Our support sessions offer emotional support and aim to be a safe space for you to speak freely. We are here to listen, support and believe you.

Children and Young Person's Service

Providing you with a safe space

All support provided is child-led. This means you are responsible for what is spoken about during support and you will never be asked to speak about something you aren’t ready for. Our specialist support workers are here to listen and provide reassurance about your worries. Support can take place during school hours in a discreet school location or out with school at our office or outside.

A confidential and discreet service

The support you receive from us is confidential which means whatever is discussed during your support session will not be retold to parents or teachers. If you chose to get support in school your sessions will be arranged by your guidance teacher. They will ensure our meeting is in a discreet location within school. While we often see children and young people through school, you can also reach out to us for support on your own by using our contact details.

Support session conversations
